Are you smarter than an 11 year old?

I think life is over complicated. I also think adults make it complicated so...

I wanted to share a story I had with my daughter about inspiration and her being comfortable showing her personality while moving from primary school into secondary school.

My question to her was 'What inspires you?'

And her response was "I don't need to be inspired to be myself, I just become it."

Now I know kids say the craziest things, but you have to admit this is pretty deep.

Her words sat with me for awhile afterwards and I feel they can be used in so many instances. Like when we question ourselves or worry about how we are perceived.

Slightly intense for a Morning morning but I hope this quote helps someone today and even more so during Pride month.
