While the rest of the world is hitting the snooze button, morning people are out there going to the gym, getting in a morning walk or even just making a fancy breakfast, all before 8 a.m. It's like we've cracked the code to a secret club where the password is "caffeine" 😅
Last week I read an article listing the advantages for your physical and mental well-being and a lot of the reasons rang true for me, so I wanted to share with you why I start my day super early:
⚡ Increased Productivity: I find I’m most productive in the morning and have put that down to fewer distractions. I manage to do my daily admin tasks before my first meeting which helps clear the day for more productive projects.
⚡ Establishing a Routine: My consistent routine helps with time management, reduces stress for upcoming projects and increase overall efficiency week to week.
⚡ Health Benefits: I feel now I finally have a regular sleep schedule, which is associated with improved sleep quality.
⚡ More Exposure to Natural Light: I go outside every morning this alone can help regulate the body's internal clock and improve my mood.
⚡ Personal Growth and Self-Care: Waking up early provides extra time for self-care activities, such as exercise, journaling and usually time to stroke my cats.
I of course know that not everyone is naturally inclined to be a morning person, and individual preferences for sleep patterns can vary. However, if you want to become more of a morning person, you can gradually adjust your sleep schedule and adopt morning habits that work for you 💡
